I have received the Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation Award in Field Biology!
I’m excited to share the news of my Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation Award in Field Biology! The award recognizes my work studying avian integrative biology . This award makes it possible for me to focus time on exploring and learning – and sharing what I uncover. I’m part of a group that includes Sahas Barve, Agnes Dellinger, Astrid Leitner and Norine Yeung. I’m honored to stand alongside them as we learn, bring diverse perspectives to our work and share it with the world.
Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation powers people who explore and ask, teach and try, create and captivate. They support individual scientists, teachers, conservationists and creators whose diverse perspectives enable us to discover new things about ourselves and our world. Learn more about their work at

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people that have supported me on this amazing path of discovery, curiosity and creativity. My gratitude to those who supported me during the deep downs, and cheered with me in the bright winning moments . Thank you!!!
